National Floral Design Day!
You may or may not know this, but National Floral Design Day is February 28th! This is an annual event that is committed to the art of floral design, which is an important craft that is internationally understood across cultures.
We all celebrate with flowers, whether it is with a beautiful bouquet in the hands of an excited bride, a blooming centerpiece at a party, or flowers prospering in nature. Flowers are used to bring color into out lives and beauty into our events.

As an event planning company, we strive to have an eye for color schemes, style, and perspective. Since flowers are used to celebrate the joy at weddings, anniversaries, and birthday parties, we have a lot of experience playing with floral designs to give the clients exactly what they envision for their magical day.
One special wedding we planned combined a bride’s love of beautiful antiques with a groom’s love of flowers. Connie and Antonio wanted their wedding to have a simple yet vintage flair that reflected their passions and artistic preferences on their special day. Antonio is the local florist in their charming little town so we wanted to make sure the flowers looked perfect to his professionally trained eye. To make their vision became a reality, we tied together Connie’s antique vintage style with Antonio’s modern flare, creating a theme that revealed the past and the present.
The couple was married at a breathtaking villa that overlooks a famous castle in Baia, Naples. Castello di Baia is a beautiful castle that is famous not only for its architectural beauty but also because of the surrounding waters. Baia Sommersa, the waters around the castle, contain Roman antiques that are easily visible if you take a glass-bottom boat tour around the castle. Antonio, being a passionate florist, worked with the flower company to create a stunning floral vision for the ceremony and reception.
Connie wanted a clean and classic all white wedding, so the only flowers used were white flowers that were in season in Italy in late August. To mix their love of antiques and flowers, we had a vintage book on each table with a picture of a flower and it’s scientific name. We also had each table have a special flower name, allowing the guests to have fun as they searched for the white rose, blooming orchid, or blossoming lily table. The floral arrangements on these tables only had that specific flower on the table, adding a classic touch that everyone at the wedding appreciated.
Art of Perfection Events wanted to make Connie and Antonio’s wedding echo their passions and we know they loved these little touches, making their special day a little more magical.
