Meet Maryla
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wagner College and is a Certified Wedding and Event Planner. She is fluent in Italian and comes from a restauranteur background that has helped her to perfect her craft.
Maryla’s sense of style and capability to work under pressure landed her a role in the fashion industry. While working for designer Anne Bowen and successful Bridal line Sarantina by Sarah Jassir, Maryla has designed and executed various Couture fashion shows. Maryla has assisted on weddings with famous event designers David Tutera, Ed Libbey, Marcy Blum and Preston Bailey. Her experience and love for her art makes her a true designer.
Maryla’s perfectionist attitude leaves no detail unseen. She is typically seen sporting a chic outfit with an espresso in hand while speaking a mix of Italian and English in her office. Maryla has a hopeless romantic side, which she incorporates into her event designs. Dubbed the Party Girl by her friends and family, Maryla will hop on the dance floor at any event.
Maryla always has a stock of emergency wedding supplies close by, including items the bride and her attendees wouldn’t think to have on hand! While we hope you don’t have emergencies on the big day, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Meet Peppe
Giuseppe is the Wedding and Event Budget Specialist. He is the entrepreneur, the realist and businessman who takes Maryla’s unique ideas and works them into their client’s budget, rendering the client’s dream a beautiful reality.
Peppe has a background in Sociology and learned his business tactics while working for the global sightseeing company “City Sight.” Peppe’s cultural experiences have given him a vast wealth of knowledge, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to the bridal industry.
Peppe is the hardworking problem solver, who is devoted to making each event flawless. He takes care of business so you don’t have to. He holds a love for travel, soccer, and great food. Peppe can be seen wearing his Ray-Bans as he deals with the logistics of Maryla’s elaborate designs.
He always keeps his tape measure handy as you never know where Maryla finds inspiration that she wants to recreate. It is especially useful when deciding exactly how her idea will fit in the venue chosen. As budget specialist Peppe works diligently with your ideal number and expectations to make you comfortable and at ease during the wedding design process.

Italy and Event Planning has always been a key part of who Maryla and Giuseppe are. Maryla has the talent, devotion and passion required to create a cutting-edge, impeccably designed Event Planning business; Peppe has the drive, the strategy and the business acumen. Together, Maryla Colandrea and her husband Giuseppe Scotto are a powerhouse.
The two are childhood sweet-hearts who met and fell in love during Maryla’s summers abroad in Naples, Italy. Giuseppe, known to many as Peppe, was born in Naples, where Maryla’s family is from. The two were married in 2010 and went on to combine their love of Italy with their talents to create the company, which marries passionate travelers who appreciate the romance and authentic atmosphere Italy has to offer.
In a sense, for the time they can be, they are married to their clients. Maryla’s enthusiasm and passion for her “ART” is truly one of a kind. Giuseppe’s ability to understand others and communicate clearly makes him a very special part of their business.

Angela Scotto
Angela has more than 17 years experience in international relations, she has worked on large cross-border cooperation projects for the development of tourism in Italy. Angela started working with Art of Perfection Events in 2012. She has since become the manager of our office in Italy, handling details such as legal paperwork, site visits, maintaining quality vendors & new venues and keeping up with the Wedding Industry Trends abroad. From 2016, she collaborates with the first Italian digital magazine dedicated to wedding planning, HAPPY WEDDING MAGAZINE, as a Sales and Marketing Manager. On the day of your wedding or event Angela is your go to person. She is our “Lady in Waiting,” her positive attitude and ways of solving any issue with great caution and nonchalance allows you to relax and enjoy, without the stress.

SALVATORE VICIDOMINI AND ISABEL PUGLIESE
Architecture and Design Concepts: Designing would not be possible without the help of our lead Architect Salvatore Vicidomini. Salvatore is a wiz at 3d renderings and sketching. His drawings bring Maryla’s elaborate ideas to life and allow you to experience your event before the day of. Exact measurements, planning and developing a day of production plan allows Art of Perfection Events to take a white canvas and paint your special day on it.
Graphic Design: Isabel uses elegance and simplicity in all she designs. She is able to brand your event so that all guests will remember each moment in a special way. From Logos, Wedding Websites, to Church Booklets, Favors, #HashTags, to Photo Booth memorabilia, Isabel documents your event through details guests appreciate and love taking home!
